Oak that has been buried in a bog and carbonised over the course of thousands of years — known as jindaiboku in Japan.

Place of origin: United States

A mechanical pencil handmade by woodworking artist Toshimasa Kawamura. Each piece is carefully crafted from his collection of rare timber varieties, gathered over many years from around the world. We hope you’ll find a favourite among them.

The custom-designed push button and tip are crafted from brass. The raw brass finish will naturally develop a patina over time, allowing the pencil to evolve uniquely with you.

Please note: The clip is not made of brass.
